My favorite stage to do baby photos is sitting-up-but-not-crawling (usually around 7-9 months). You can really start to see their little personalities coming out at this age and—because they can't crawl yet—they're captive little subjects. They just sit there and look super cute! I had the pleasure of photographing this family, including their adorable bulldog Lola, in their beautiful home in southeast Evanston. Lola was super chill and friendly and seemed to really enjoy being a part of the family photos :)
