I met up with this family at Lighthouse Beach in Evanston on a beautiful mid-September evening. This was my second time photographing them and they are such a pleasure to work with. The kids are amazingly natural in front of the camera. Most kids automatically break out their fake "cheese!!!" smiles as soon I pick up the camera. It usually requires some time spent chatting them up and telling silly jokes to get genuine expressions. But these two are so natural—and adorable—right from the get-go. They made my job too easy!
